Founded by Fred L. Aycock in 1992, Remington Medical specializes in designing and manufacturing medical devices. The maintenance, time, and money put into cleaning and sterilizing medical devices led us to develop some of the first disposable cables, some still in use today. Our business designs, manufactures, and distributes all our devices from our three facilities located in the United States and the Dominican Republic.

Our Mission
It’s our mission to improve people’s health through quality medical devices. That’s why most of our medical device manufacturing processes are done in-house at our 90,000 square-foot facility. By controlling every aspect of our in-house medical manufacturing processes, we develop superior, high-quality medical products that reduce end-user costs, improve patient care, and ensure safety and reliability.

Description
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage RMI and CM projects by interfacing and coordinating between customers, purchasing, materials, production, quality, regulatory, and engineering.
- Analyze existing equipment and manufacturing processes and offer continuous improvement conceptual planning and implementation activities.
- Troubleshoot existing production requests and assist with the R&D efforts of RMI and Contract Manufacturing (CM) products
- Write technical reports and documentation (i.e., Design History, Risk Management, Product Realization Files, Mold Verifications and Product/Process Validations).
- Implement new technologies and processes to expand manufacturing capabilities.
- Perform engineering analysis on RMI and CM products.
- Manage multiple concurrent projects with competing resources and timelines.
- Update and maintain engineering drawings and documentation.
- Adhere to and ensure compliance with Quality System SOPs, work instructions, drawings, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Good Documentation Practices (GDP), ISO, and FDA requirements.
- Provide Training to other team members as needed.
Requirements
- BS degree in Engineering (or related discipline) or education/experience equivalency preferred; Professional Project Management training required w/o bachelor’s degree
- 6+ years of related project management experience preferably in medical device or other FDA regulated industry.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent projects with competing resources and timelines.
- Strong knowledge of product life cycle processes/protocols, injection molding products/equipment/processes, electrical systems, mechanical and hydraulic application, and lean manufacturing.
- Working knowledge of MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Access, and MS Project.
Excellent communication, prioritization, and organizational skills.

- Initiate sales calls to prospects at the department level in hospitals and decision makers in private practices
- Maintain accurate records related to prospecting
- Follow up with evaluation of products
- Maintain customer contacts
- Sell RMI products to prospects by explaining features and benefits
- Forward customer complaint calls and complaint information to QA
- Adhere to Quality System SOPs, work instructions, Good Documentation Practices (GDP), ISO, and FDA requirements
Requirements
Qualified Candidate Requirements Summary
- BS degree in business or technical discipline preferred (or experience equivalency)
- 1+ years of related inside sales experience, medical device or FDA regulated industry experience preferred
- Proficient with MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Outlook
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Demonstrated ability to calculate discounts, commissions, and percentages
- Demonstrated ability to interpret and solve problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw logical conclusions
