Do you have your injection molds manufactured overseas?
Remington Medical has an in-house injection mold tool shop and proudly manufactures injection molds and tools here in the United States of America. We pride ourselves on the quality of these tools and the craftsmanship that our team has.
What certifications do you have?
All Remington Medical facilities are compliant with FDA 21 CFR Part 820 and have been issued ISO 13485:2016 certificates by our notified body, BSI. In addition, we work with Health Canada, MDSAP, JPAL, EU, and other regulatory bodies on a regular basis.
How do you manage my project?
Remington Medical has a full engineering commercialization department. Each project is assigned a Program Manager as the lead with the support of an assigned Project Engineer, Quality Engineer, and Technical Project Assistant. This core team will use best practices in project management to take your product through the commercialization process with support from our in-house regulatory department, production department, and any other specialty required for launch.
Will you manufacture my product in the United States?
Remington Medical is a complete medical device manufacturer with facilities located in the United States and abroad. We will always propose the option to have your product made in the United States as well as our facility in the Dominican Republic. The decision of the manufacturing location is ultimately up to the customer.
Do you offer distribution services for contract manufacturing customers?
We feel it is more important to maximize our manufacturing space over finished goods storage in order to continue to expand our capabilities and capacity. Therefore, we do not offer distribution services for our contract manufacturing customers currently.
Do you offer Design for Manufacturing (DFM) services?
As your manufacturer of choice, we will always conduct DFM services for any project prior to launch. We believe it is in the best service of our customers and our production team to ensure that all designs are streamlined for manufacturing and can be assembled/produced as designed.
Can you take my product through to the final packaging?
Remington Medical prides itself as a turnkey, medical device manufacturer. This means it is our goal to build your product through all processes including plastic molding, metal machining, cable and wire processing, PCA/PCB processing, assembly, inspection, testing, and final packaging. As such, Remington will manage the supply chain for sourcing any subcomponents outside our capabilities. Once final packaging is complete, we can also assist with logistics coordination between your preferred sterilization partner and our warehouse so that we ship straight to the sterilizer. Therefore, you can focus on the key parts of your business such as the marketing and sales of your device to the market.
