Injection molding, is a process developed for producing your parts in large, repeatable volumes. At Remington Medical, we use this method the most for products and plastic parts that need to be reproduced hundreds, or even millions, of times in succession.
The injection molding machines can scale easily to meet your needs as they rise or fall and maintain their high-quality production the entire time. The second part you produce in a production line is identical to the one before it, every time.
Raw materials such as plastic are injected into the mold cavities and the molten plastic sets to fit the mold. Following the injection mold cycle, the plastic is allowed to cool before being ejected from the mold. The injection cycle typically takes seconds, and the cooling process is managed efficiently by our molding technicians. All of this leads to a more rapid production for you and more efficient operations.
