High volume, repeatable, precision mold manufacturing.
Mold manufacturing is one more way we provide the world’s best contract medical manufacturing for your devices. It comes with multiple inherent advantages for your assembly process.
Years of designing high-quality medical devices.
Injection mold manufacturing, is a process developed for producing your parts in large, repeatable volumes. At Remington Medical, we use this method the most for products and plastic parts that need to be reproduced hundreds, or even millions, of times in succession.
The injection molding machines can scale easily to meet your needs as they rise or fall and maintain their high-quality production the entire time. The second part you produce in a production line is identical to the one before it, every time.
Raw materials such as plastic are injected into the mold cavities and the molten plastic sets to fit the mold. Following the injection mold cycle, the plastic is allowed to cool before being ejected from the mold. The injection cycle typically takes seconds, and the cooling process is managed efficiently by our molding technicians. All of this leads to a more rapid production for you and more efficient operations.
You’ve Found a Medical Industry Leader in Contract Manufacturing
Take advantage of our experience and expertise today
We look at every product line we manufacture individually. Our team of engineers and experts works along with you to determine the best mold manufacturing process for your devices. We weigh the benefits and drawbacks of every method to select the one that best suits your situation. For injection, there is the initial cost for the creation of the mold, but after that the production costs drop quickly. The scalability of all the different types of molding manufacturing results in a lower cost per unit for your products.
This quick and repeatable process also comes with low waste or scrap rates for your raw materials. Often, the only material waste is the bit of plastic left in the entry and travel points of the molds. We manage this waste efficiently and productively to keep our operating costs down and pass those savings on to you.
